About Me
I’m Camilo Lozano III, primarily a web developer and currently a System Administrator of St. Michael’s College — Iligan City, Philippines. I’m previously employed as I.T. instructor in Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan for one school year. I’m also into freelance works which I started since 2004. My skills and interests are;
Web Development
I used to develop websites using PHP-MySQL + AJAX and created the designs in Adobe Photoshop + ImageReady. In furnishing stage, CSS and JavaScript widgets are applied. Adobe Flash animations are added if necessary to make the website attractive or as the client required.
Software Development
Developing software is one of my fields, I’m using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and a backend of Microsoft Access in my early stage of programming. As technology evolved, I update my software development skill by the using Microsoft Visual C# as my new tool of developing software and its backend is MySQL to do the data storage.
Graphic & Multimedia
Since in high school and college, I used to layout using Adobe Photoshop as my tool in publishing posters, tarp, ads, college yearbook and etc. In addition, Adobe Flash, eRain Swift 3D and Swish Max are also my tools to do projects requiring animations. Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier are also my editing tools for my videos.
Others
System Administration
When I administer web servers, I always use Linux Operating System. Its easy to install, update and administer. It’s widely used, so tutorials are everywhere if I need something.
PC Troubleshooting
In my high school years, I used to work in an internet café as computer technician. Fixing, and assembling computer hardware and install required software. It was my hobby and past time when getting bored.
Basic Networking
I do basic networking, such as setting up LAN and other network topology, configure wireless or wired router and other network devices.
